Umm, no he hasn’t. All references prior to the mention of the blog refer to the summer silly season and media. The reference to “the happiest time of the year” is meant to refer (somewhat tongue in cheekly) to the content of the TSV blog.

“The dig that the blog is out of date doesn’t come across.”

It did for me – I understood clearly what ZB/FR was getting at. (or at least I thought that’s what he was getting at )

You’ve written the piece to imply that Christmas is still the happiest time of the year, not that it is still Christmas. You’ve talked about it being summer and the silly season in the first part, and then you mention the TSV blog and say it is still the happiest time of the year. The dig that the blog is out of date doesn’t come across.
