The Doctor in his ninth incarnation was sharp featured with close cropped hair, and wore an often troubled expression which could break suddenly into a wide grin at a moment’s notice.

Now in his tenth incarnation, the Doctor’s boyishly good looks were as constantly in motion as the rest of him, as he seemingly cast his attention over everything and everyone at the same time.

The eleventh Doctor’s face seemed as much a mixture of elements as his personality, with no feature seeming to belong with the other.
